So interesting that I subscribed. I spent much of much pre-teen and early teens in a Jewish neighborhood in Chicago. As far as I know, no one hated them then and there, but maybe I was too young to know what was going on. As a kid, I liked seeing the long beards and skull caps, and had Jewish friends in school. I think you are going to educate me, like so many on this Substack are doing, bit by bit, piece by piece, almost every day.
Is it my old man's imagination, but were the rabbis back then more mystic and more spiritual - less distracted with modernity and freer to sense information come to the spirit as they trained taily to stay open to YHVH?
I am 100% Semitic/Hebrew/Jewish. As a scientific experiment 40 years ago this year, I asked to the ethers one night in the darkness of my Santa Monica Beach apartment with the window open to hear the crashing surf and beach air, "God, Jesus, if YOU exist, prove it to me. And no matter what, show me the truth." This led to being led by YHVH'S Holy Spirit and 8 years later Yeshua Hamashia Lord Jesus Christ visiting me with multiple messages and one telepathic mind-to-mind message.
Yeshua's Mind to my mind. It took 30 years for me to fully understand the multiple messages and 31 years to quantify it with the highest prime door, "Heavenly Holograms" ~<+>~
To get me primed, I know and give credit to YHVH'S Holy Spirit in the Holy Name of Yeshua Messiah before I even knew to ask and how to ask. I just asked plain and straight and definite, to be led to Lakota Inipis - With the Medicine Man - Hopefully not the last of the great Lakota Medicine Man Chiefs! Longwalker. I was the closest to understanding and drinking this stuff down to fill my soul and spirit, albeit, I am not Lakota. I am not of the American Indian Indigenous Nations - Although, ask my Pop in Heaven, I am a Chippawa off the old block. And that's my joke.
Longwalker's joke to me when crows were around. "Those are members of the crow nation."
Which was funny and teaching at the same time. And I looked at other living species as nations since.
